St Malo

The coast of Saint Malo are typical of the Brittany coast.

They consist of cliffs and sandy bays resulting from a long process of erosion and accumulation.Millennium after millennium, rain water under the action of frost shattered rock. The sea, through the movement of the waves, will break those bursts to turn them into gravel and then sand grain.

Lighter, this sand will be transported by currents and deposited on beaches in sheltered bays.
